Our Process

1. Quotation

We will work with you to generate the tooling solution based on your needs. At this stage, we will provide pre-DFM and quotation.

Router will be generated and we will then perform a detailed design for manufacturing analysis and mold flow analysis to decide gate locations and other critical factors.

3. Mold Design

We will work with you closely to achieve an optimal mold design with consideration of materials and shrinkage rates. Mold drawings including electrodes, sliders, brass inserts and other mold components will be generated. After approval, we will update the router and record required materials, tools, programming and operations. We will then schedule the production time.

We will examine the materials before cutting. Required material will be coded and used throughout the production process. We will then print the drawings and categorize according to specifications.

Programmers will examine the drawings where they will plan and execute the mold construction with most effective way. Programmers will then generate and verify the program and start the mold machining process. Mold will be inspected after the process.

5. Sampling

During sampling, we will use the mold and produce parts for the first time. We will set the operating temperature, dry the mold and insert the process parameters. We will record the final process parameters after testing of molds. Perform quality check after parts are left to cool down for 24 hours. A QC report will be sent to customer for approval.

Molding parameters will be digitally recorded and documented. These documents includes material drying, molding pressures, and mold operating temperature. We will refer to this document with each subsequent run, develop a process control plan, and ensure process inspection, final inspection, work instructions, and visual quality standard documentation will be generated. Inspection tools might be developed for larger production runs.


Depending on the complexity and size of part, we will review this process several times. Our aim is to produce flawless parts.

6. Production

Upon approval of the trial sample, we will then start production. We will check each part as they come off the injection press, and depending on requirements, we will monitor the process by performing acceptance sampling regimen. Depend on requirements, we will either insert pins for threaded inserts or heats take the inserts after the molding process as a separate operation.

We place the molds inside standard or custom thermoformed trays during processing. If there is high-gloss requirement, We will perform visual inspection once the parts removed from press and apply clear film on the surface to prevent scratching. We ensure that each part is carefully packed.

7. Inspection & Shipping

Inspector will check all parts before passing to technician. Inspector equipped with set of measuring tools at the work area to ensure inspection for production on the run. We will also carry out final random inspection. There will be more sampling for products that are more complicated.
